We were delighted that our Chair Yoga project was nominated for a Making a Difference Award at the Wokingham Community & Sports Awards 2026. 💙

We may not have taken home the award, but we’re incredibly proud to have been nominated. It just shows the difference Chair Yoga is making to the lives of local older people.

It was a really lovely evening, celebrating and hearing about so much amazing work taking place across Wokingham Borough.

👏 Huge congratulations to all the winners and nominees, and thank you to everyone who works so hard to make our community such a special place.

💙 Are you an unpaid carer in Wokingham Borough?

If you support a family member, friend or neighbour, there’s a free day of advice and information coming up for Carers Rights Day.

Are you an unpaid carer 🥰 in the Wokingham area?

👀Thursday 19th November is Carers Rights Day, and we have a day full of advice, information and support for anyone (of any age) caring for a friend or relative (of any age) in the local area.

Experts will be on hand to share their knowledge with you, from 👩‍⚕️health to 📝legal advice and from 💡energy saving advice to how to take an all-important 😎carers break. It's all FREE- so why not come and join in for the session/s you're interested in?

A huge thank you to Wokingham Film Society and The Whitty Theatre for hosting a wonderful afternoon of cinema and cake!

Your support helps people who would otherwise struggle to access the cinema.

Everyone loved watching The Full Monty, a great film choice! 🍿🎥 And what a treat to have so many yummy homemade cakes afterwards!! 🍰

TeamLink had a brilliant time taking part in The Wokingham Walk, expertly organised by Wokingham Lions Club! 💙🚶‍♀️

There were plenty of smiles along the way, and we even bumped into Clive Jones! 😊

We 🩵 to get our volunteers together to connect and learn!

This time we focused on the five ways to wellbeing with the brilliant Ann Marie Gawen. We learned about the benefits of yoga for our physical and mental wellbeing with our good friend and yogi Richard Welch and we heard from two of our runners in next years London Marathon Becky and Paul.

A hugely inspiring and empowering evening for all at the beautiful Sindlesham Court and we give our thanks to Berkshire Free Masons for their support too.

Thanks to all who contributed to making the evening so brilliant and of course to our amazing volunteers who make everything we do so impactful.
