Our local library, Wokingham, is a real hub and safe space for CLASP members, with staff that are always welcoming, inclusive and go above and beyond.

A Black History Month theme at Coffee Shop drop-in today.

A wet and cold day, made brighter with time spent with CLASP friends!

Coffee Shop drop-in at the Bradbury Centre runs every Tuesday from 10am-12 noon. All welcome. £2 to attend.

Tesco, Wokingham and especially Community Champion, Louise have long been friends of CLASP, and they have kindly given us the opportunity to do a fundraising collection there on Monday 14th December.

We are looking for three members to help out on the day, 10-12, 12-2 and 2-4.

Are you available and would you like to help, if so please speak to one of the CLASP team. Whilst we're grateful to our regular helpers, It would be great to see some new faces helping too.

Are you thinking about doing some paid working, a number of our members do and find the positives go beyond the money earned.

What a lovely letter to receive from Jane at Building for the Future Wokingham - Play, Support & Therapy, we're so proud of our CLASP Choir, and the joy they continue to bring.

CLASP Choir are singing as people arrive at the Wokingham Communiry Awards on the evening of Wednesday 28th October.

We will be singing from 6pm-6.30pm at All Saints Church, Wokingham.

We will expect those taking part to be there at 5.30pm, to get set up and pop on a green CLASP Choir t-shirt.

Please do not just turn up without letting us know you will be joining us.

We have limited space, so ALL places must be booked in advance. Please speak to one of the CLASP team if you'd like to join us, myself, Lorna, Helen, Debs, Philip, Dean, Edward, Martin, Thomas BarbaraP, BarbaraW, Florence and Matthew on the night.

This week at CLASP (19th October to 25th October)

Monday
No sessions

Tuesday
10am-12 noon - Coffee Shop drop-in at the Bradbury Centre. All welcome. £2 to attend.

Wednesday
11am-12noon - Happy and Healthy Club at Wokingham Leisure Centre. This week it's benchball. All welcome. £2 to attend.

12.30pm-2pm - Craft Club at Wokingham Charity and Community Hub. Regular attendees only please due to current numbers. £2 to attend.

6pm-8pm - Evening drop-in at Sedero Lounge.
This week the group will be joined by CLASP trustee, Phil. All welcome.

Thursday
10am-12 noon - Active Session. The CLASP walking group will be walking from the FBC to California Country Park and back, followed by chat, colouring, games and refreshments (available to purchase) at the FBC cafe.
£2 to attend the walking group and/or the social hour at the FBC cafe from 11am-12noon.

Gary from My Journey Wokingham will also be running a Woky Bikes 4 All session from 10-11 and 11-12. Bikes must be pre-booked. The Woky Bikes 4 All sessions are free to attend. This is not a CLASP activity, but CLASP members are very welcome.

2pm-4pm - Gardening Club at Oakfield Court, Barkham Road. All welcome. £2 to attend.

Friday
10am-12noon - LDPB roadshow - our third session on the Casey Commission. All welcome. £2 to attend.

1pm-2pm - Puzzle Club at Wokingham Borough Libraries. All welcome. £2 to attend.

Our members love these RSPB Wokingham and Bracknell Local Group walks in the spring and autumn, so kind of you all for sharing your time and knowledge with us, thanks so much - roll on spring!

Following our group's walk around Dinton Pastures Country Park leading members of CLASP (Caring, Listening and Supporting Partnership), they kindly presented us with this hand made card (uncertain species!).

We have agreed to lead another informative and exciting walk with them next March, which we are expecting to be just as fun!

Thank you to the group for the heartfelt card ☺️

CLASP will have a stall at the upcoming The Cowshed, Building for the Future Wokingham - Play, Support & Therapy and CLASP collaborative Charity Christmas Market.

We need some members to join the team, manning the stall, it is likely to be from 5.15pm to set up and the event finishes at 8.30pm. You will need to arrange to get there and home yourself.
