Hampshire and Isle of Wight Army Cadet Force The ACF is a MoD youth organisation open to all young people aged 12 from all backgrounds.

The Hampshire & IOW ACF County FB page contains all the information about what the cadets get up to across the 6 Company’s within the County along with the Dettingen County Band. It promotes the events and activities that take place from camps, sporting events, and training as well as talking about the charity and community aspect of the organisation. In Hampshire there are over 40 Detachments inc

luding a Band and Corp of Drums, in locations all over the county, from Fordingbridge to Hayling Island, Basingstoke to the Isle of Wight and as far north as Farnborough. If you are over 18, why not consider joining as an Cadet Force Adult Volunteer? We are always looking for quality CFAV who wish to train as instructors. No military experience is needed, just a desire to work with young people and watch them go further in life.

🇬🇧We are delighted to invite you to book your free tickets now for our Armed Forces Day National Event weekend on Saturday 27 June and Sunday 28 June.🇬🇧

This prestigious national event will bring the communities of Aldershot and Farnborough together with the military community in celebration and appreciation, through fantastic free activities, sports and entertainment. It is a chance for us all to thank our Armed Forces for the vital role they play in protecting the nation.

A full line up will be announced soon, with the Armed Forces Day National Event on Saturday 27 June featuring a military parade, Arena displays, music and entertainment, and a Community Day on Sunday 28 June, featuring activities, entertainment, sporting trials and live music.

Service personnel from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army, and Royal Air Force will be showcasing the diverse mix of roles in the Armed Forces, demonstrating equipment, and highlighting their contribution to national security. Visitors will be able to meet serving personnel, reservists, veterans, cadets, and military families during the weekend, which will include live military bands, parades and flypasts.

The programme of activities will also look to the future by inspiring young people through displays, activities, sports, and family events.

Many congratulations to Normandy Company Cadets and CFAVs. After a quick refresher training session and no concerns over the weather today, they all successfully completed their static line parachute jump. They were all awarded their Cadet Parachute Badge by the Deputy Comdt. Lots of smiling faces and what a way "To Inspire To Achieve".
