ENCORE Youth Theatre

ENCORE Youth Theatre ENCORE Youth Theatre was formed by Ben Wright in 1981 for local young people who shared a love of theatre.

Award-winning ENCORE Youth Theatre are based in Wi******er and specialise in all aspects of musical theatre, offering young people from Hampshire experience in all aspects of theatre production following either a performance or production route. There are approximately 35 - 40 members in the company at any one time. To join the company you must be in Year 7 by September when we start our rehearsal

s. We rehearse every Sunday, and some evenings, until February when we perform at the Theatre Royal Wi******er. ENCORE is run by a board of directors and a production committee. The directors have responsibility for the company's administration, financial management, marketing and training, whilst the production committee looks after the show rehearsals and performances.

West Side Story is an incredible show to be part of, packed with energy, movement, storytelling and some brilliant male roles and ensemble moments too.

One week since we took our final bows in ‘Curtains’! 🥹✨
