Yesterday was a great day at Hawley Lake Sail Training Centre for our Wing’s Paddlesport. All learnt new skills and had fun.

AT Climbing day done, 15 cadets and 4 staff took to the walls. We had a speed climbing competition . Rainbow route cdt Leigh wind with 6.06 seconds, 2nd Fg off Rosser with 6.25 and 3rd cdt porter with 8.92. And the green route. 1st cdt Leigh with 5.41, 2nd cdt gale with 6.45 and 3rd Fg off Rosser with 7.02. Cadets did really well learning critical skills like tying in, belaying and climbing safety checks.

We have started our AT training day with Rock Climbing, cadets are learning climbing skills, how to belay and do their ABC checks to keep safe.

Today we had the pleasure of the Commandant Air Cadets joining us at Hawley Lake. He joined the cadets in mountain biking and paddlesport.
