Today we celebrate Founders Day which is the birthday of Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting, who was born on this day in 1857!

Scouting has evolved into a global youth movement helping young people and adults make friends and develop skills for life.

We have spaces for young people and adult volunteers across all sections and on our Trustee Board. If you fancy giving something new a try please get in touch!

Scouting is all about fun, adventure and creating memories that last a lifetime — but it’s often the little moments that mean the most.

Seeing our young people grow in confidence, take pride in new skills and build friendships that will stay with them for years… that’s what really makes it special.

An unexpected ‘thank you’ from one of our members meant a lot, and we’re grateful for every smile, every effort and every act of kindness that keeps our Scouting family thriving. 💚✨
