Hi everyone,

Unfortunately we've struggled to build the critical mass necessary to sustain regular Sunday morning service ringing here at Poolstock. Of course, having regular ringing is going to be important when it comes to making our case for the rehanging of the bells, and therefore we're going to ring for the monthly evening service, on the fourth Sunday of the month between 5:40pm and 6:30pm. We previously rang quarter peals in these slots but would like to open them up to more ringers. The ringing will be tailored to the ability of those who attend, and visitors just need to be confident in ringing call changes independently.

I know, the bells are tricky, but getting them rung regularly for services is really important in supporting the project which aims not only to ensure longevity of the installation, but to create a regional teaching centre. Full details of the plans will be published soon.

The next Sunday in this pattern will be October 22nd. We hope to see some of you there!
