✨It’s only October but it’s never too early for us fairies to be thinking about Christmas! We hope you will get involved with The Shoebox Fairy Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2026 and build a festive shoebox for someone in need (ideas on our website or in our Instagram highlights)✨

🎁 Our shoebox appeal:
• Is a great way to introduce the themes of community and charitable giving to younger children
• Covers citizenship aspects of the curriculum
• Is a fun and festive activity that people enjoy year after year

🎄The cost of living crisis over recent years means that Christmas festivities will be a luxury that many cannot afford this winter. Although our gesture is a small one, we hope it brings happiness to those who may need it at Christmas time.

🫶🏼We were overwhelmed by the response from our local community the last few years and we can’t wait to get involved again. This year’s last day for drop offs will be Sunday 29th November - keep an eye on our socials for drop off point details!

Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our Barmy Bingo event until 2027. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We would love to partner with midwives across Chorley and St Helen’s who may want to receive our boxes filled with essential items for new mothers and their babies. Each box is carefully packed with practical essentials and a few comforting treats
