🎃 What a spooktacular time we had! 👻🧙‍♀️

We had so much fun welcoming you all to our first Garden Halloween event in quite some time, and what a fantastic evening it turned out to be! 🧡

Unfortunately, we had a few last-minute volunteer cancellations due to illness, which meant we were a little short of extra hands to capture all the fun on camera! 📸

But surely some of you managed to snap a few photos? We'd absolutely love it if you could share them in the comments below so we can see all the spooky fun we missed!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, joined in the fun and helped make the evening such a success. We hope all the little ghosts, witches and pumpkins had a brilliant time! 🎃👻

🎃 HALLOWEEN EVENT – SOLD OUT! 🎃

Wow! Our Halloween event is now fully booked! 👻🧙‍♀️

We just wanted to remind everyone that tickets only need to be booked for children – adults do not need a ticket!

If you've accidentally booked tickets for adults, we'd really appreciate it if you could take a moment to update your booking.

📧 Simply find your booking confirmation email and, as shown in the image below, click ‘Cancel Ticket’. You'll then have the option to cancel however many tickets you don't need, while keeping the correct number for your children.

🧡 By freeing up these extra tickets, you'll be giving other children who may have missed out the chance to join in the Halloween fun!

Every space counts, so we'd really appreciate your help in making sure as many children as possible get to enjoy the event.

🎃 Family Halloween Fun is Returning to West Calder! 👻
We’re delighted to be bringing some family-friendly Halloween fun back to West Calder this year!
The Trust will be hosting a Spooky Woods Walk at the Community Garden, giving younger children the chance to enjoy the magic of Halloween in a safe, fun environment — without the worry of going door to door.
🕸️ Children can make their way around our spooky woods on a self-led Halloween walk, collecting trick-or-treat tokens along the way. Once they complete the trail, they can trade their tokens in for a Halloween goodie bag! 🍬
We’ll also have Halloween crafts available before or after your walk. You can enjoy them with us or take them home to complete later.
🎟️ This event is completely FREE — book your child’s time slot now using the link below!
The event is mainly aimed at primary-aged children, although younger children are very welcome to come along too. Please be aware that the contents of the Halloween goodie bags are not suitable for babies or toddlers.
👨‍👩‍👧 A few things to know:
• All participating children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Only children need to book a slot — adults can simply come along.
• Prams and strollers can be parked within the garden grounds if needed.
• The walk is designed to be fun and atmospheric rather than frightening, making it perfect for younger families.
