The Watford Foodbank provides support for individuals and families in food crisis anywhere in the Watford area. Registered Charity No. 1184482

Watford Foodbank is here to help individuals and families in crisis by providing free emergency food as well as support until the appropriate agencies are in a position to assist. We do this by providing short-term, emergency food supplies during a crisis while a long-term support strategy is developed. We work in conjunction with care professionals such as health visitors, social workers, CAB, Watford Community Housing Trust, New Hope and other support organisations who identify people in crisis and send them to our food distribution centres.

🌾💚 A HUGE thank you for your Harvest Festival donations, we have been truly overwhelmed by the generosity of our community!

October is always a busy time for Harvest collections, with schools, churches, businesses, and community groups coming together to support local people facing hardship.

This Harvest, we’ve been reminded once again that when communities come together, amazing things happen. 🤝

Thank you to everyone who has:
🥫 Donated food, toiletries and money
🙌 Volunteered their time
📦 Helped collect or deliver donations
💚 Supported and shared our work

Your donations remind us what Harvest is truly about: thankfulness, sharing, and community spirit.

Many thanks Watford.

In these cold months we can limit waste by making soups. Use the peels for stock, use the meat and veg for soups and use your stock cupboard for flavours. Share your recipes to inspire others
