The Indian Food Festival conducted on the 7th of March 2026 is proud to have raised £2000 for our chosen charity The Akshaya Patra Foundation UK this year to provide hot meals for school aged children and to maximise their chances of staying in education. Team visited the schools we serve, as part of their Bombay Bootcamp. They served hot meals, spent time with the children and helped create a day filled with laughter and warmth.

We deeply appreciate partners who connect so sincerely with our mission to nourish children and support their education. Dishoom, thank you for spending the day with us. It was fun.

Since serving our first meals at just five schools in Bengaluru in 2000, from our inaugural kitchen at Hare Krishna Hill, we have – thanks to the extraordinary kindness and generosity of our supporters – experienced incredible growth in our mission. We now operate more than 78 high-capacity kitchens in 19 states or union territories across India and serve in close to 24,000 schools.
