Remembering Father Michael Conaty💚

Today marks the 9th anniversary of the passing of Father Michael Conaty, our founder.

Although nine years have passed, Father Conaty’s values, kindness and commitment to the community continue to live on through St Anthony’s and The Bostey and the work we do every day.

His belief in people and the importance of community helped create places where generations have felt welcomed, supported and valued. We are incredibly proud to continue what he started and to keep his legacy at the heart of St Anthony’s and The Bostey.

Today, we remember him, celebrate his life and everything he gave to our community.

God is my help in every need.
God is with me now.
Wherever I go his peace goes with me.
God’s love sustains me in everything I do.
I have a mission from God to fulfil.
I face today confident and unafraid because Jesus is with me.
I picture only good for myself and others.
I will only do good for myself and others.
God will help me heal my mistakes.
He will not punish me so I will not punish myself.
I forgive by a power not my own, but which is within me.
I am an essential part of God’s plan.
I am free from tension, stress and strain.
I relax completely in God.
I give this day to God to guide.

🌿 Elders in the Woods session! 🌿

Elena and Katherine from The Wildside joined Rosie and our service users for another creative session together.

Everyone had a go at decorating wood slices and poppy seed heads, as well as trying some beautiful botanical printing. 🎨🍃

It was a lovely afternoon💚
