🎉A new chapter for YMCA Newcastle🎉

We’ve opened the doors to our new youth centre in Walker.

Thanks to support from the Youth Investment Fund, our new space provides an exciting opportunity to create a welcoming and engaging environment for young people to meet, connect, learn new skills and take part in activities within their local community.

We’re looking forward to making lots of new memories here and continuing to support young people and families across Walker.

🏃‍♂️ HE DID IT! 🎉

A huge congratulations to our Chair of Trustees, Neil Jackson, who has completed the Great North Run in support of YMCA Newcastle!

Here’s a before and after 📸 of the big day 🏅👏

After putting in the training miles, Neil took on the 13.1-mile challenge alongside thousands of other runners. With donations still coming in, he’s now expected to raise over £500 for YMCA Newcastle! 🙌

We’re incredibly grateful to Neil for taking on this challenge and helping raise vital funds to support our work with young people across the city.

And a huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported Neil along the way. 💙

Well done, Neil — what an achievement! 👏

Our Chair of Trustees, Neil Jackson (FCA) , is taking on the Great North Run this Sunday in support of YMCA Newcastle!

Here he is putting in the training miles — and hoping the weather is a little kinder for him and the thousands of runners taking part! 🌦️

A huge thank you to Neil for taking on this challenge, and to everyone who has already donated to support our youth programmes.💙

Best of luck, Neil — we’ll be cheering you on! 👏

And there’s still time to support him: https://lnkd.in/ejguqdaT
