🌟 We’re still looking for new Trustees!

Following our recent post, we wanted to shine another light on this exciting opportunity to join the YMCA Newcastle Board.

As we look ahead to the next chapter of our 175+ year history, we’re keen to welcome people who can bring their skills, experience and fresh perspectives to help us continue making a difference for young people across Newcastle.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in:
➡️ Legal / Governance
➡️ Housing & Property
➡️ Ofsted / Youth Services Regulation

You don’t need to have been a Trustee before. We’re looking for people who are committed to our values, willing to provide constructive challenge and keen to use their expertise to create positive social impact.

Trustees Wanted | YMCA Newcastle
Are you looking to use your skills to make a real difference?

YMCA Newcastle, the city’s oldest independent youth charity, is seeking new volunteer Trustees to help guide our next chapter. For over 175 years, we’ve supported young people through youth work, housing, health and wellbeing, and community programmes—and we’re just getting started.

We’re particularly keen to hear from individuals with experience in:
🔹 Legal / Governance
🔹 Housing & Property
🔹 Ofsted / Youth Services Regulation

As a Trustee, you’ll join a committed Board providing strategic oversight, constructive challenge, and support to ensure we continue delivering high-quality, sustainable services for young people across Newcastle.
