🍂 October Monthly Round-Up 🍂
Autumn is now in full swing, and it's been another busy and exciting month for everyone involved with our services! 🍁
Our Gardening Group have been hard at work preparing the garden for the upcoming winter season, making sure everything is ready for the colder months ahead. 🌱🍂
Meanwhile, our Art Group have been getting creative, designing and decorating beautiful autumn-themed bags using fabric pens. There were some fantastic designs and plenty of seasonal inspiration! 🎨🧡
Our Cooking Group are also looking very smart in their brand-new black aprons, which have replaced the old white ones. We think you'll agree they look fantastic and are already being put to good use in the kitchen! 👩🍳👨🍳🖤
This month, our Short Breaks have taken groups and individuals on trips to Backworth, Whitley Bay, Cresswell and Berwick, creating opportunities for fun, friendship, and new experiences. 🚐🌊
We were delighted to welcome Sophie and Lynn to our Outreach Team this month. We're excited to have them on board and look forward to the difference they'll make. 💙
We're also pleased to have received funding from Healthwatch to consult with young people about their health and their experiences of attending appointments. This important project will help ensure that young people's voices are heard and can contribute to improving local services. 🗣️✨
The month got off to a fantastic start with our fabulous fundraiser, which raised an incredible £891.20 for the charity. Thank you to everyone who supported us, donated, attended, or helped make the event such a success. 🎉💙
It's been wonderful to see so much participation, creativity, and support across all of our groups and activities throughout October. As we move into November, we're looking forward to continuing this momentum and creating even more opportunities.
