More than 40 years ago, women took to the streets through Reclaim the Night, challenging the idea that they should limit their freedom to stay safe.
Today, women and girls face similar barriers in digital spaces. Too often, they are told to stay quiet, block it out, leave the conversation, avoid certain platforms, or simply log off.

As part of 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women and Girls, we're inviting women and girls to share their experiences across social media, gaming communities, livestreams, forums, messaging apps, workplace networks, dating platforms, and other digital spaces.
Together, we're building a collective digital protest, shining a light on the harassment, misogyny, exclusion, intimidation and abuse that too many women and girls experience online, and challenging the idea that this is simply "part of being online."
Throughout the campaign, anonymous experiences will become part of a growing public display of voices, highlighting why change is needed. Every story shared helps expose the reality of life online and strengthens the call for safer, more inclusive digital spaces.
