URGENT SHOUT OUT - CAN YOU HELP A CHILD IN NEED?
10 - 11 year old girl clothing needed TODAY ASAP
Today we have an emergency delivery of new duvets, bedding, food and clothing for 4 young children aged 4, 5, 10 and 11 who have been moved to emergency accommodation and have very little clothing and essentials. FISCUS is very fortunate that we are able to provide a mixture of pre-loved and new clothing including new coats and underwear. This is all THANKS to the wonderful generosity and kindness of local people who care 🥰
However, we are very low on clothing for the girl aged 10-11 clothe size. We will be delivering each child a lovely pack of clothes and bedding and toiletries and treats. But we will need to go shopping for the 10 year old girl if we cannot get some nice quality donations. We rely on small donations from our wonderful supporters and local people for our Crisis Fund but this is also very low 🥲 A donation of £5 will buy new underwear or socks, £10 will pay for joggers or sweatshirt or a bath towel for a child. If you can help with 10-11 year old GIRLS clothing, a small cash donation or a clothing voucher please get in touch asap on 0191 5111391 or direct message us on Facebook. We also need a coat for the boy size age 11 if anyone has one in good condition they no longer need.
Why not get your child/children involved in donating their pre-loved clothing and items they no longer need? When children 'gift a bundle' it often helps them feel involved and raises awareness that some children have very little and lack the basic essentials. If you are shopping and see some PJ's or underwear (children all ages) in the sale, why not buy and donate and get your child or young person involved?
Over the years, FISCUS children of our staff members and volunteers have kindly donated their clothing and other items and have enjoyed getting involved in helping other children. Most of our children are now grown up so we need to ask for YOUR help!
