It takes over 40 litres of paint for our pitches every time we mark them, the messiest job ever 😥 the results are great though 😁

This month we took down every photo of a young person we've ever posted. Eighteen years of them.

I've written about why we did it, what it cost us, and what it means for parents and our teams. Have a read and let me know what you think.

SIX PITCHES. ALL GOOD OR BETTER. ⚽🌱

We strive to create the best possible playing enviroment for our players.

Brilliant news from Monkwearmouth! All six of our grass pitches have been rated Good or Advanced in this year’s Football Foundation pitch inspection.

Two pitches achieved an Advanced rating, and Pitch 3 has maintained that grade every year since 2022. 👏

The inspector said the results are a credit to everyone involved, and we couldn’t agree more.

A huge thank you to everyone who works hard to look after our pitches week in, week out, to Bennison UK Groundworks for their work on the ground, and to the Football Foundation Foundation and Durham County FA FA for their support.

The hot summer allowed a few weeds to creep in, so there’s still work to do over the winter. But we’re proud of what’s been achieved and looking forward to making our pitches even better.
