We are a CIC that houses a co-operative shop, café, choir, playgroup, crafts group, woodwork club, gardening opportunities, beehives and much, much more...
Come along and learn more about us! The shop provides a strong variety of food and drink, as well as a selection of breads, vegetables and frozen too. It's a £1 monthly membership but shop prices are heavily discounted and all proceeds made ar
e reinvested back into future community projects. Alongside the shop, we also host our Café4All, ran by local volunteers. The café offers a staple menu alongside weekly specials that promise both affordability and deliciousness! We're passionate about overcoming social isolation in our community and promoting friendship and care for one another. On Tuesdays, we have our Little Blessings playgroup for pre-school ages, as well as our singing group, The Bee Tones. Wednesdays also host our 'Knit, Natter & Sew on...' crafts group which teaches members how to be creative with their knitting, stitching, crocheting and sew on! We also house two beehives in our church gardens to connect Pennywell with nature again. Opening up valuable volunteering and employability skills, we are holding Beekeeping courses to train up a team to become beekeepers, learn valuable skills and produce and sell our honey to promote and support local businesses. We fully believe in opening up our church once again to serve the community and returning choice and independence to the residents we are lucky to work with. We run regular events and challenges and we hope you will follow our progress on Facebook to ensure you don't miss out on the High Teas, the Breakfast Clubs, and the seasonal challenges we like to do. Remember, this is your church as well as our church and we'd love to have you on board if you'd like to volunteer with us.
