Saturday's Animals Asia North East Big Bear beach clean at Roker.
Thanks to Alex, Jackie and Suzanne for some great volunteer work today! Two bin liners of cans, and bits of plastics cleared from a deceptively tidy looking Roker. In addition a fair amount of fishing line and an unfortunate cut through my glove thanks to a nasty hook!
Wildlife should not be the ones to suffer due to human impact, and recent necropsies, following the devastating nurdle spill recently, have shown evidence on plasticosis in north east birds....thank you to volunteers all over who take a stand for wildlife and environment.

This morning I had an opportunity to speak to a room full of amazing U3A community members about Animals Asia and Nowzad
Thanks to Jackie Robinson, who is also one of my Big bear beach clean volunteers for inviting me as a speaker for two of the animal charities I currently support.
The members were really interested and some event donated and had a chat with me after my talk, to see how they can help.

£120 raised and this will be split between Animals Asia and Nowzad.
