For anyone worried this is a scam I’m sure there’s plenty of people on here who will vouch for me and considering we have ran a family business on Toward Road for over 60 years I’m a easy lad to get in touch with if there’s any questions just message me

If you could give this a share this on any SAFC groups it will be greatly appreciated šŸ‘šŸ»ā¤ļøšŸ¤āš½ļøšŸ«¶šŸ¼

Current update on the fundraiser it’s sitting at Ā£1882.79
The just giving page raised Ā£1194.04 with an extra Ā£282.75 through gift aid so that was Ā£1476.79 in total it looks like the teenage cancer trust have stopped taking anymore donations on the just giving page and as I have no access to it I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated so far it’s really appreciated šŸ«¶šŸ¼

The collection bucket at Eppleton raised £291.00 and an also a big thank you to Kimberly and Kian they raised £95 this will be paid in along with the £20.00 spuggy gave me after we have the last push to get us over our target

Cancer affects many lives, and some of us will know someone who has bravely fought the battle. In October 2023, Myself, along with my son George and his cousin, began fundraising for the Teenage Cancer Trust. This cause is close to our hearts as they provided invaluable support to their Uncle Adrian during his battle with bone cancer. Sadly, we lost him at the young age of 19.

The Teenage Cancer Trust was a constant source of strength for us during that difficult time. They ensured Adrian received the best possible care and helped our family navigate the challenges. We want to honour Adrian's memory and show our gratitude by supporting the Trust's continued efforts in aiding young people facing cancer.

Our Challenge:

Is to complete 19 laps around football pitches in the Northeast we have already achieved this at the Ford Hub where my son plays for the U10 Westend Blacks and at South Shields 1st Cloud Arena

And I'm glad to announce that on April 4th, 2024, we will be completing 19 laps around the Stadium of Light this will be after the first team open training session

How You Can Help

Donate: Every contribution makes a difference. You can donate through our Just Giving page set up in Adrian's memory (link included below).

Share: Raising awareness is crucial. Please share this message with your network.

Early Detection Matters: While our focus is on the Teenage Cancer Trust, we acknowledge the importance of early detection in other cancers. We've included a link with five warning signs for teenagers to watch out for, along with a link to a 30-second prostate cancer risk assessment tool (links included below). I have added this as it's the biggest cancer risk in men and two of the clubs we have been helped by have seen successful results both in Gary Bennet at Sunderland and Geoff Thompson at South Shields as they were diagnosed early, so lads if you're of a certain age get checked out it could save your life!

Thank you for your time and support. Together, we can make a difference.

Sincerely,

George
