🏃‍♀️ A huge shout-out to our amazing Stroud District Foodbank community! ❤️

A massive thank you to our brilliant volunteers who ran the Stroud Half Marathon bag drop, to our very own half marathon runners, Pat & Clive, to Fin who took on the Mini Mile, and to everyone who donated food and money to support our work.

We had a fabulous morning! We absolutely love being part of this fantastic event, cheering on all the runners and seeing our community come together. We are already looking forward to next year.

Community at its very best! 💚

HELPING LOCAL PEOPLE IN CRISIS 💚

We’re proud to announce Stroud District Foodbank as our final Stroud Charity partner!

The need for emergency food support remains high in our community. Last year, Stroud and District Foodbank provided thousands of emergency food parcels to people facing difficult times.

This weekend, you can make a difference. 💚
Please bring an item or two from the foodbank’s shopping list when you collect your race bib:
📍 Saturday, 9:30am–4pm ... Marling School Playing Field
🏃 Race day ... Drop off your donations at the Foodbank Stand next to the Bag Drop at Race HQ
Every donation helps support local people and families when they need it most.

A huge thank-you to the wonderful volunteers from Stroud and District Foodbank who, for the third year running, will be managing the event bag drop. We’re incredibly grateful for their time and support. 💚

A huge thank you to the King’s Stanley & Selsey Trust for their generous donation and for continuing to support Stroud District Foodbank.

It was lovely to welcome some of the Trust’s trustees to our warehouse last week. We really appreciated the opportunity to spend time with them, talk about our work and share how their support helps us be there for people facing difficult times.

Every donation makes a difference, helping us provide food and a warm welcome to people who need our support. Knowing that we have the Trust’s continued backing means a great deal to us.

Thank you to everyone at the King’s Stanley & Selsey Trust for your generosity, for taking the time to visit us and for showing such a genuine interest in what we do. We’re so grateful to have your support.

🍐 A huge thank you to the Standish community! 🍂

A big thank you to everyone involved in making the Standish Harvest Supper 2026 such a wonderful community event, raising an amazing £1,208.50 for Stroud District Foodbank! ❤️

From the delicious food and pear-themed quiz to the Dingbats, live keyboard music and a brilliant raffle, it sounds like a fantastic evening!

Our heartfelt thanks go to all the brilliant cooks, the wonderful team of helpers, everyone who donated raffle prizes, and all the guests who came along to support us. We’re also hugely grateful to the Village Hall Committee for covering the costs of the event, helping to make this fundraising effort possible.

Your generosity will make a real difference to local people facing food insecurity.

🎶 What a night! 🎶

A huge thank you to the fantastic Chalford Community Choir & Orchestra for filling Friday evening with amazing music and helping us raise money for Stroud District Foodbank. You were brilliant!

And a big shout out to Chalford Sports & Social Club for providing the perfect venue and making everyone feel so welcome.

We’re thrilled to have raised over £900, with donations still coming in! 🙌 Every penny will help us as we get ready for the winter months.

Thank you to everyone who came along, donated, shared the event or supported us in any way. It was a brilliant evening and a real celebration of what our community can achieve together.

We’re really looking forward to Chalford Community Choir & Orchestra playing in aid of Stroud District Foodbank at Chalford Sports & Social Club this Friday 2nd October.

Doors open at 7pm, with music from 7.30pm.

🎟️ Tickets are £10, children come free, and if the ticket price is a barrier, please don’t let that stop you — give what you can, or nothing at all. We’d much rather have you there!
