Two great food events at the trinity rooms for this year's Stroud festival of commons!

We are delighted to be part of this year's Stroud Festival Of Commoning with two delicious events taking place at our Trinity Rooms Community Hub on day two of this year's line up on Saturday 3rd October 2026!

Join a fun hands on Cooking for Community Workshop, 2:30pm-6pm, helping to whip up the delicious menu for the Community Dinner that follows.

Come along to a Pay-what-can Community Dinner, 6pm-10pm, and enjoy a fabulous feast to mark the end of this year’s festival.

Don’t forget we are holding an in-person meeting at the Stroud Trinity Rooms Community Hub NEXT Wednesday, the 2nd September, from 6pm to 7.30pm where all are invited to come meet with us, share your views, make suggestions, or/and get involved with making a plan regarding Stroudco’s potential place within the current climate challenges and rising prices where Community is likely to need a network that connects eaters and buyers with local food producers and when that need arises it might be urgent.

Tickets available today for a film screening of Power Station at our Trinity Rooms Community Hub on September 6th.

An inspiring story of what can happen when a community comes together. Highly recommended. Plus, it's raising funds for this year’s Stroud Festival of Commoning (which will be taking place Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd of October 2026).

Stroudco Food Hub was established fourteen years ago to supply locally produced, agroecological food and drink to local people. We saw a massive surge in demand during the COVID pandemic. The Stroudco team decided to pause trading in 2024 because order volumes were too low to pay the wages of the Stroudco manager. From the time of pausing we have retained a small financial reserve from previous trading.

We gratefully thank everyone who has been in touch so far. For those who filled in the poll regarding attending an in person meeting, there was no one date that worked for everyone so we have chosen the most popular date. Wednesday 2nd September 6pm to 7.30pm at the Trinity Rooms Community Hub Base Room (the back room of the building, Field Road, Stroud, GL5 2HZ).

The third annual Festival of Commoning is taking place across Stroud on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October 2026 and tickets with a sliding scale of prices are already available on the official FOC website.

This year’s theme is Common Ground: Healing Divides. Celebrating stories from people and projects who use commoning practices to foster belonging, mutual care, resilience, and shared power in the face of growing societal division, polarisation, inequality, isolation and exclusion.

A group of volunteers organise the festival in our hometown of Stroud as part of a global movement.
This year creating more spaces for people to connect with each other, learn new collaborative skills, and get out and about to see commoning projects already making an impact in and around the local area.

The Festival is for doers, organisers and people who want to common…own it together, make it affordable, keep it forever. It will be an opportunity to come together, share our stories, inspire one another and learn new skills.
