How many of our Red Horse herd can you see huddle up together here?🐴

Some are resting, enjoying the safety of their friends, some are munching away at some tasty hay🌾

The vibrant leaves of the trees create a wonderful shady area that the horses love being in💚

Happy Sunday everyone! What a week we've had!☀️

Everyone took extra care this week to stay safe in the heat, with the horses getting lots of baths and down time💧

We had a lovely visit from the talented .g who came and took some pictures of our wonderful herd, and captured them so beautifully🥰

Can't wait to share some more of her pictures with you all! 📷

Being part of herd is about safety, companionship and trust. It's a place where each member of the herd know there is someone looking out for them🥰🐴

Some horses develop stronger bonds with different members of the herd, and they can often be found eating together, sleeping, grooming each other and playing🤍🧡

When the herd allow humans to become part of their herd, magic happens✨️

When a horse trusts you to be their safety and companion for a session, healing happens❤️

The herd have been enjoying their new field and all the yummy grass that comes with it🌱

We start by giving them short amounts of time daily, and then increasing the time they have access to it so their stomachs can get used to the rich spring grass🌸

Sugar, Chip and Deer who aren't able to have as much grass due to health issues always get a couple hours out in the day to roll, play and eat✨️

One of our yard team caught this lovely video of Samsun and Antero playing together one evening

You can tell the herd are used to their playful nature by continuing to happily graze around them
