Where are you spending May half term? 25-30th May.

Brimscombe Mill comes particularly alive in the holidays as a place where the social enterprises here all work together to bring as much as possible into action for our community.

During the week there's all our favourites, pay-as-you-can lunches and jacket potatoes for children, the morning craft table, the whole site scavenger hunt and a special visit from some reptiles for you to book into. All of which are here to join regardless of what's in your wallet.

The Long Table, Kids Stuff, Home Remedy, Bike Drop, all under one roof working together to make sure there's always something worth coming for, whoever you are.

Link in bio for everything on our school holiday page including reptile tickets.

An invitation to reimagine the local economy.
Are you interested in what it takes to build a community hub that brings people, purpose and enterprise together?
Join Will Mansell, co- founder of The Grace Network for a tour of Brimscombe Mill, you'll hear more about the model we are building across The Grace Network, a kind of modern-day monastery for today’s communities: a place of work, welcome, shared resources, practical support and social change.
This tour is for anyone who has ever thought: could we build something like this in our town?
Whether you're exploring an idea, already working on a social enterprise, looking for a new way to use a building, or simply curious about how place-based community hubs can work, we’d love to welcome you.
Will Mansell will give a practical rundown of how Brimscombe Mill works, how our hubs are developing, and what it takes to get started from creating a network of social enterprises, to thinking about funding, partnerships, buildings, shared values and local need.
You’ll get a chance to see the Mill in action, understand why our model is different and why it works and could work in your community.
Book your place to join the tour.

Reimagined, reinvented, regenerated? Read all about it....

Whatever you want to call it, there's one thing we can agree on and it is that this mill has many a tale to tell. From the tale of Dick Whittington to the industrial revolution, the lawnmower and the journey to a social enterprise hub at the heart of a community the mill has been occupied for over 500 years.
We're excited that a local historian has offered to give a talk on the history of the mill and it's previous lives bringing us right up to the current century. If you're interested in the preservation of these beautiful richly historic buildings grab your ticket from our website.

25th June- 7pm in our Sanctuary Space.

Can you help by donating plants to encourage nature back into our glade?
We have this beautiful glade at the front of our site that is in need of a bit of a glow up. have been a great support in helping us to keep the area nettle free and created a willow fence. We would love it if any community members have any shade loving plants like ferns, epimedium, hellebores etc that they could share with us to bring this area back to life.
If you can help or know any organisations that could then please get in touch.

What does it look like to reimagine the community that we live in?
The Sanctuary Series is nearly a year old so we thought we'd look back at all the ways we've been inspired this year. If you were in the audience of any of our talks you'll know we always aim for hope, what can we do in our own small way to live differently for the better of people and planet when everything else looks like it might be spinning away from us.
We're celebrating our one year anniversary with two special guests. Sir Tim Smit (Founder of the Eden Project) and David Harland, CEO of The Lost Gardens of Heligan exploring what regeneration really means, rebuilding relationships between people, place and the natural world and how gardens can bring people together.
Check out the added feast option to kick the evening off too.
Book online on The Brimscombe Mill website.
