We’re very grateful to Gloucestershire Community Foundation for their generous grant.

This funding will help us continue providing accessible counselling support for people across Gloucestershire, who may otherwise struggle to afford the help they need.

It was lovely to meet with the GCF team at Tewkesbury Funding Fair recently.
Thank you again to Gloucestershire Community Foundation for supporting local mental health and helping us continue this vital work.

This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week has been about more than awareness - it’s been about action.

Every day, people in our community are carrying things others cannot see. Accessing support can change lives, but for many, cost can become a barrier at the point they need help most.

As a local charity, donations help us provide subsidised counselling for people across Gloucestershire who may otherwise be unable to access support.

If you’d like to take action this Mental Health Awareness Week, you can support our work here by clicking the donate button:www.gloscounselling.org.uk

You deserve support before you reach breaking point.

Many people come to counselling because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected or exhausted — not because they’re in crisis.

You do not need to justify struggling.

“For the first time in years, I felt properly listened to.”

Many people come to counselling carrying things they’ve held inside for a very long time.

Mental Health Awareness Week is about reminding people that support exists and that things can change.

You do not have to carry everything on your own.

Mental health struggles often happen quietly.

Behind closed doors.
Behind busy schedules.
Behind “I’m fine.”

At GCS, we support people through anxiety, grief, trauma, burnout, relationship difficulties, low mood and the many challenges life can bring.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we want to remind our community that reaching out for support is a strength — not a weakness.
