💗 Following the incredible success of our first event, we're delighted to be bringing A Mother’s Circle to communities across North Tees and Hartlepool on four more occasions over the coming year.

💕 Created for refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant mums and birthing people, A Mother’s Circle is a warm, welcoming space where you can take a moment for yourself, enjoy a cuppa, meet other mums and build new friendships.

💓 Whether you're pregnant, a new mum, or have little ones aged 0–4, you're welcome to come along. Bring a friend if you'd like to!

💕 We’ve heard feedback from many women, birthing people and families that being on the maternity ward can sometimes feel a little overwhelming especially when the do's and don'ts aren't immediately clear.

💗 Knowing the answer to simple questions like, "Can I close my own curtains?" Or "What happens to my baby or babies if I need a shower?" can make a big difference to how confident, comfortable and empowered people feel during their stay.

💖 Your experiences and ideas will help us create some new resources that are practical, reassuring and truly useful for families.

💜 Your MNVP have lived experience of NICU and know first hand how powerful those early moments of closeness can be.

💜 Kangaroo care is so much more than a cuddle. It can help babies feel safe and regulated, support bonding and attachment, encourage breastfeeding, and provide comfort and reassurance during what can be an incredibly overwhelming time for families.

💜 For parents spending days and nights beside incubators, celebrating tiny milestones and navigating the emotional rollercoaster of neonatal care, those moments of connection matter deeply.
