What a fantastic day yesterday at Ropner Park! 🎉

Well done to everyone who attended and joined in the celebrations — seeing so many faces come together made it truly special.

A huge congratulations to the organisers and volunteers for hosting such a wonderful event again for our communities. Days like this do so much more than just bring people together: they strengthen community cohesion, break down barriers, and help build lasting friendships and relationships across different backgrounds.

Thank you for creating a space where everyone feels welcome, connected, and part of something bigger. Your hard work makes such a positive difference.

💚 Stockton Green Watch had a brilliant time carrying out a community litter pick at Ropner Park in Stockton earlier this month!

💪 The team took the lead in removing waste from the park, spoke with local residents, and gave children the chance to explore the fire engines!

🔥 Our crews are always working to protect people, places and the future, whether that’s on the job or supporting our local communities.

SHOUT OUT TO THIS INDIVIDUAL

When the fire first broke out at Galaxy Blinds in Stockton, firefighters were trying to open an alley gate to gain access to the other side of the property.

This individual ran and got his alley gate key out of his house and opened the gate for the firefighters whilst others stood and filmed the incident.

The building had flames raging from the roof and this man wanted to help firefighters

Cleveland Fire Brigade are advising anybody who lives in the vicinity of Yarm Lane to close windows and doors.

The wind is currently blowing smoke towards

Bowesfield/Parkfield
Stockton Town Centre
Hartington Road

Visibility is significantly reduced across the town and surrounding areas.

Anyone with breathing difficulties, recommend you don’t venture towards Stockton due to the sheer amount of smoke.
