The weather might have been wild outside, but there was plenty of warmth, friendship and good conversation inside. 🍂🫶

💚 A huge thank you to everyone who joined our Volunteer Safeguarding Training session!

It was a warm, thoughtful session, with brilliant participation and honest discussion. Our volunteers bring so much experience, care and commitment to their roles, and it was lovely to bring people together from across our different activities.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and this training helps our volunteers feel confident about noticing concerns, responding safely and involving staff promptly.

📅 Please note: the online session planned for October has been cancelled. Our next session will be:

🌧️💙 **A wee reminder to look out for each other, Stirling!** 💙🌧️

It’s been a wild and wet weekend with Storm Austen and Storm Boelo certainly making their presence felt! 🌬️☔

We know many of our roads and paths across our communities are flooded, so please take extra care if you’re heading out this Sunday.

💙 **A few wee reminders from us:**
🚗 Never risk driving or walking through floodwater.
🏡 Check in on neighbours, friends and anyone who might need a helping hand.
📱 Keep an eye on weather and travel updates.
☕ If you can, offer a wee bit of kindness, a helping hand or a friendly check-in.

At Inspiring Communities, we know that community is about more than the places we meet — it’s about the people who look out for one another, especially when things get tough. 💙

We hope you’re all staying safe, warm and dry this weekend. Please take care of yourselves and each other, and if you know someone who could do with a wee check-in, now’s a good time. 🫶
