"Fun with a Purpose"! Stamford St Martins Rotary Club is mixed, relaxed, relatively young (by Rotary standards) and full of like-minded people.

We formed in 2001 and still enjoy a healthy membership. We are just the best Rotary Club! We usually meet every Tuesday evening at The William Cecil Hotel, Stamford at 730 pm. New members and visitors are always welcome.

🎄 Our Christmas Tree Appeal is getting ready! 🎄

Yesterday evening, members of the Rotary Club of Stamford St Martins rolled up their sleeves and spent the evening preparing the gift tags for this year’s Christmas Tree Appeal. 🏷️✨

Each tag shows the age and gender of a local child, so every present donated can be just right for the child who receives it. Our aim is simple: that every child on our list wakes up to a wonderful, suitable gift this Christmas. 🎁

👀 Keep an eye out around Stamford! Our Christmas trees, posters and donation QR codes will soon be appearing in businesses across town. When you spot one, simply take a tag, buy a gift and return it, or scan the QR code to donate.

💚 100% of donated presents go to local children.

A huge thank you to our members for their time, and to the Stamford businesses hosting our trees. We’ll share the locations as soon as they’re up!

Yesterday evening, members of the Rotary Club of Stamford St Martins enjoyed a fascinating history walk around St Martins, led by local historian Chris Hunt.

With a focus on the area's former pubs and breweries, Chris brought the stories behind so many familiar buildings to life. We couldn't help thinking it would have made a pub crawl, if only all those pubs were still open today! 😄

We rounded off the evening with a tasty fish and chip supper at the Model Fish Bar 🐟🍟

Great company, great stories and a lovely dusk walk. A big thank you to Chris for sharing his knowledge with us!

🎉 A (slightly overdue!) thank you and welcome from the Rotary Club of Stamford St Martins 🎉

Huge thanks to our outgoing President, Katy, for a brilliant year at the helm. Your energy, dedication and warmth kept the club moving forward, and we're grateful for everything you gave to the role.
And a warm welcome to our incoming President, Mike, as he takes up the reins for 2026-27. We're all looking forward to supporting you and seeing what the year ahead brings!
Here's to another great year of service, friendship and fun. 🥂
Apologies for the delay in posting this - better three weeks late than never! We wanted to properly mark the end of a fantastic 2025-26 Rotary year.
