Since April 2014, when Martin Simpson launched the Folk@TheFlavel series, Dart Gig Promotions have brought many of the UK's top folk artists to The Flavel Arts Centre in the centre of Dartmouth. Peter Johnson and Jonathan Needs set out to create a folk programme at this wonderful arts centre, as there was little or no folk music being performed at the time. Over eleven years we have had the excitement and pleasure to host artists including Fairport Convention, Gigspanner, Flook, Cara Dillon, Steve Knightley, Phil Beer, Miranda Sykes and Hannah Martin, Edgelarks, John Smith, Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman, Faustus, Leveret, The Furrow Collective, Megson and many more.
We are now handing over the Folk@TheFlavel series to The Flavel Arts Centre itself for 2025 and into the future. We will still be involved in the curation and presentation of the F@F programme, but The Flavel will handle all aspects of promotion.
DGP has put together a great programme with The Flavel for 2025, which kicks off on Friday, 14th MARCH with our not-really-folk-but-hugely-popular MARTIN TURNER Ex WISHBONE ASH, then is followed by:-

Saturday, 18th APRIL - HARBOTTLE & JONAS
Saturday, 11th OCTOBER - NINEBARROW
Thursday, 13th NOVEMBER - FLOOK
