South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust covers one of the busiest regions in the country, with crews responding to calls around the clock across Slough, Bracknell, Reading and Newbury.

Yesterday, 445 snack packs were delivered across every station in Berkshire - a small token of appreciation for the people who show up for others, every single shift.

Five years of the RRT Family Food Box! πŸŽ‰

Since launching in 2019, the Food Box has steadily become a lifeline for families across the UK and beyond, providing emergency food support to those affected by domestic violence, hardship, and crisis - including thousands of families during the pandemic, when it was needed most.

Behind every box is a simple hope: that in someone's hardest moment, they feel less alone.

We're thankful for every organisation, referrer and volunteer who has helped this initiative reach so many families over the past five years, and for the trust shown in us to deliver it.

Here's to the next five, and to every family still to be supported.

A milestone celebration! πŸŽ‰

Mid and West Wales Fire & Rescue Service marked 30 years of serving the community with a special Open Day at their HQ, giving the public a first-hand look at the kit, vehicles and skills behind the service.

RRT Swansea volunteers were thrilled to support the celebrations, serving 200 bacon rolls and 500 gourmet burgers to the crowds throughout the day, with 17 volunteers on hand to keep everyone fed.

A huge thank you to Mid and West Wales Fire & Rescue Service for having us be part of such a landmark occasion.

On the night of 9 August, a van fire on the A31 triggered a major wildfire in the New Forest.

Crews were mobilised fast, working through extreme heat and shifting winds to bring the blaze under control in the period that followed.

For eight days, RRT volunteers were on site serving a total of 4,334 meals and 1,771 coffees - so crews could keep going.

To every firefighter and responder who held the line - thank you.

The Frontline Festival returned to The Walks in King's Lynn on Saturday - a free, family-friendly day bringing together emergency services, charities and community organisations to celebrate those who keep communities safe.

Now in its second year, it drew a bigger crowd than ever, with activities, demonstrations and inter-service competitive games throughout the day.

RRT were delighted to support the day serving burger meals to attendees.
