Yesterday we hosted our annual Volunteers Morning, an opportunity for all of our volunteers to come together, receive some training and meet other drivers from different offices.

The day kicked off with a welcome from our Chairman, Mike Baker, who shared the Trustees thanks to all of our volunteers for the time that they take in providing us with the much valued Community car Scheme.

Next, we received a very interesting and informative presentation from AADriveTech, together with a driving related quiz presented by our Trustee, Les. We also had an interactive station, supported by TyreSafe, where volunteers could look at the way that the wear on tyres would affect performance.

Following a coffee break, we heard an update from Steve (Trustee) on the work of HVC over the past year and our plans for the future.

The morning was finished off with lunch and the opportunity for volunteers to share stories with each other, as well as staff and trustees.

A big thank you to all who joined us, it was lovely to see so many of you there!

Did you see us at Hail Weston Village Fete on Saturday? Our amazing volunteers pulled together a wonder information stall, and some great raffle prizes, helping us to raise mush needed funds to support our small charity.

Yesterday we held our AGM, a great opportunity for Trustees, managers, volunteers, councillors and supporters to come together to reflect on the activities of the past year and learn about plans for the year to come.
