❤️❤️"Team Carli" goes International - 2027 ❤️❤️

Our charity is beyond proud to announce that, as from 2027, the runners in "Team Carli" will be going International 🥳

Our charity has been able to secure 2 slots in all of the 6 European Superhalfs:-

Lisbon - 7 March 2027
Prague - 3 April 2027
Berlin - 4 April 2027
Copenhagen - September 2027
Cardiff - October 2027
Valencia - October 2027

We are delighted to say that almost all our allocations have now been taken by runners in Team Carli - Charity Runners, our little "unofficial" running group

Only Lisbon 2027 has availability potentially

The cost to our charity for each slot is £220 so that is all we ask people to raise if they would like to take on one of these half-marathons (naturally, we hope you will raise lots more than that for us). Other than what is costs us to enter, we do not set any other minimum targets to raise

All travel/accommodation plans are the responsibility of the person running. All we can secure is access to the half-marathon

We are pleased to be working with Realbuzz in connection with these 6 superhalfs, and we even have a couple more International runs for 2027 to be announced tomorrow

If you think you may be interested in running Lisbon Half-Marathon in 2027, or any of these half-marathons from 2028 onwards, please either comment on this post or message us via Facebook.

We are VERY confident the opportunity to run these events raising awareness/donations for our charity will be popular and we look forward to long, rewarding partnership with Realbuzz

🏎🏎 Carmen Reeve - MINI Challenge Clubsport🏎🏎

Our charity is extremely proud to have been invited by Carmen Reeve to be a sponsor on her racing car for season 2026-27

Carmen's family have really close links to the Lansley family ❤️

In Carmen's own words:-

"With much privilege, I am pleased to have the Carli Lansley Foundation join me for the 2026/2027 Racing Season.

Full of joy to have such a wonderful charity join me on my racing journey and my upcoming race weekend. And my first full rookie season next year in the MINI Challenge Clubsport.

The story behind this charity is truly moving and I cannot express enough the importance of getting your heart checked. I’m pleased to be able to spread this message across the motorsport community all of the UK"

We cannot thank Carmen enough for this amazing opportunity to raise even more awareness of our charity.

We will also post on our pages all the venues/dates of Carmen's races. Members of our family are planning to attend as many as we can, and we are hoping lots of our charity followers will also be there to cheer Carme

Just a selection of our runners at today's Southend Half

Traffic was bad getting into East Beach so we grabbed a photo of everyone we could at 8.30

This poem was from one of our charity runners, Louise:-

Team Carli will hit the roads this week
A PB some will be hoping to seek
Others will be grateful just to finish,
Whatever the time, pride doesn’t diminish.

You run with your heart
To help protect others
You’re funding screening for sisters and brothers
Carli’s legacy shining through
Raising vital funds with every mile you do.

But more than that, making people aware
Every shout of encouragement, every media share
To protect the hearts of those we love most
Taking on 13.1 miles down at the coast.

So massive thanks you are all amazing
I hope the sun won’t be blazing.
When your brain makes you question ‘why did I start?’
Remember Carli, and run with your heart.

❤❤ Southend Half-Marathon - Sunday 14 June ❤❤

This Sunday see's the annual Southend Half-Marathon. Last year, we incredibly had over 100 runners wearing our charity shirt/vest and this year we're hoping for similar high numbers

As a partner of Havens Hospices for this event, and other running events in 2026, we are proud to say we will have a gazebo set up in the runner's village where people can find out more about how they can arrange a free ECG for themselves, or a loved one (the age bracket is 14-35)

If you're one of our runners this weekend, our feather flag will be on display opposite the runner's village and we are looking to get a big group photo between 8.25-8.30

If you are free that morning and would like to volunteer to be at our gazebo for 30 minutes-1 hour, please contact us

Thank you to all the Team Carli - Charity Runners who will be representing us Sunday. As is the standard for the Southend Half, it's scheduled to be a scorcher 😎

❤❤ Two more wingwalkers take to the skies for our charity ❤❤

Yesterday, Simon Lock (l) and Andy Rees (r) took on the wingwalking challenge at Headcorn Airfield, whilst raising awareness/donations for our charity

On this one challenge alone, the two guys have raised almost £2,000 between them for our charity. Simon is also a long-time supporter of our charity (and active member of Team Carli - Charity Runners) and has raised thousands for us in recent years

We know both of them had an amazing and our thanks, as always, goes to everyone at The Wing Walk Company

We will back with them in August 2026 when we have another 8 scheduled wingwalkers....and we may even start looking to dates in 2027 as this is obviously a challenge that appeals to a lot of people

Our charity is VERY proud of our association with Southend United Football Club

Two ex-players, Adam Barrett and Jason Demetriou, are our patrons

We are current away sponsor of Harry Boyes

And the kids and I are about to begin our 12th season as regulars in West Stand

The continued support from staff, players and fans continues to humble us, and we know all these links will only get stronger and stronger

A massive thank you to all of our partners throughout the 2025/26 season!

Your support has been greatly appreciated 🙏

❤️❤️ 42nd and 43rd screening days in memory of Carli announced❤️❤️

We are delighted to announce 2 more screening days in memory of Carli - in conjunction with Cardiac Risk in the Young - to be held in 2027

These will again be at Saxon Hall on 17 February 2027 and 6 April 2027

All screening days run from 09.00-15.45 (with an hour's lunch break from 12.30-13.30)

All appointments must be booked in advance and more details on this will follow shortly

These ECG screenings are completely FREE and fully-funded by our charity - each screening day covers 100 young people (aged 14-35) and costs £7,000

If you'd like to donate to help fund more screening days, this is the link to our memorial fund:-
https://www.c-r-y.org.uk/carli-lansley/

All screenings are available to anyone aged 14-35. If you, or a loved one, are in that age bracket then please consider getting yourselves checked. It is a painless, non-invasive check and could be life-changing/life-saving

We are very shortly to announce a very special 44th screening day, where we have joined forces with another bereaved family locally. Please look out on our socials for more details on this

Jess and Ethan are pictured with Rob Potter, Manager at Saxon Hall and we thank everyone at that venue for their continued support

1st June 2017....9 years on....continuing Carli's Legacy ❤️

9 years ago today, Carli passed away from Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS).

Life would never ever be the same for her family and friends

Our Family will always honour, and respect, the significant dates during the year that relate to Carli. As a family, the last 9 years have seen plenty of highs and plenty of lows but, with great strength and with lots of love and support, we've kept going and can now genuinely say it looks like brighter days are ahead for "The Lansleys"

So, on what will always be a tragic day, we have decided we'd like to focus on the positives we have done in those 9 years and in ensuring Carli's name will live forever.

In recent weeks, the charity we established in her memory passed the figure of £250,000 raised for screening days so that we, in conjunction with Cardiac Risk in the Young, can provide free heart checks to young people (aged 14-35) to help find undiagnosed conditions

This is purely what we've raised for screening days - it does not include costs of CPR courses, installations of defibrillators or other ways in which we've benefitted the local community. The total figure raised since our charity formed in 2018 is well over £300,000

Our family are so proud of our charity, and it ensures we can continue "Carli's Legacy"

❤❤Carli Lansley Foundation around the world ❤❤

Followers of our charity page will know that, last year, we started a fun initiative to see how many countries around the world Carli's logo can be shown in

This week, it was the turn of me, Jess and Ethan to get involved as we spent a few days in beautiful city of Prague

If you are do go overseas (for business or pleasure) and would be happy to grab a selfie wearing one of our charity tops in front of iconic locations, please message me.....let's see how many countries we can tick off the list

Carli's charity has now "visited" Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, Mauritius, Morocco, New Zealand, Norway, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, UAE and USA...where next?
