There is something very special about the connection between a participant and their pony.

During ADHD Awareness Month, we are celebrating the different ways in which being around horses and ponies can provide a positive experience for people with ADHD.

Spending time with horses and ponies can offer an opportunity to focus on the moment, follow a familiar routine and enjoy physical activity in an environment away from some of the distractions of everyday life.

For our participants, it can also be about much more than learning to ride. It is about building confidence, developing new skills, enjoying friendships and, most importantly, having fun.

At RDA, everyone is encouraged to achieve what matters to them.

🏅SPECIAL GUESTS UPDATE

With our AGM just around the corner, we have some exciting news to share......

In a very timely tribute to the wonderful Athene Lindebjerg, we are thrilled to announce that we will be joined on the evening, from 7pm, by the marvellous trio of Paralympians Julie Payne, Sophie Christiansen and Mari Duwrard-Akhurst.

They will be sharing their fabulous experiences with us and will have their medals to show, in homage to Athene and all that she has done for them and for her country over so many glorious years. This really is a treat not to be missed 😊

Our Trustees have been out and about recently promoting the work of South Bucks RDA.

Leanne delivered a talk sharing the work and magic of South Bucks to Slough Rotary, thank you for the kind donation.

Emma and Claire attended Slough Jobs Fair promoting volunteer opportunities and Claire attended the Feast of St Peter celebration evening and gratefully accepted a generous donation towards SBRDA. We are extremely grateful for our communities support and kindness.
