We're looking for volunteers! 💜

We're heading to Barnsley FC for the Barnsley Football Club vs Sheffield Wednesday FC local derby on Friday 20th November, and we need your help! ⚽

We're looking for volunteers to help with our bucket collection on the evening, by collecting donations from supporters around the ground.

Could you spare some time to support us? Every donation we collect helps us be there for people affected by cancer across the South Yorkshire community, and beyond. 💜

⭐ We're spotlighting Laura and her fur-tastic fundraiser! ⭐

Laura was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago, receiving treatment at Weston Park and our support services. 💜

Now cancer-free, Laura has opened her own dog and cat grooming business Pows paws , and is giving back to support our vital services for those affected by cancer.

Throughout October, she's been donating £5 from every client to support our vital work, as well as collecting donations through a charity collection tin.

There's still time to book your pooch in for a glamorous makeover! 🐾✨ Why not treat them to some pampering while supporting a great cause? 💜

A huge thank you to Laura for her generosity and continued support.💜🫶

This , we’re reliving the moment we shared our £2.15 million ‘see it. treat it.’ appeal total! 🤩

This map shows the spread of support across the region – a sea of purple that represents months of fundraising, campaigning, and community action.

It shows thousands of people united by a shared purpose: to secure a state-of-the-art MRI simulator for Weston Park Cancer Centre.

Our merger with Cavendish Cancer Care last year introduced us to a wonderful community of supporters.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to support us, from familiar faces to those who have joined us more recently.

We recently spoke to Jean, a long-time Cavendish Cancer Care supporter, about the fundraising events she organises with her colleague, Linda.

Jean and Linda connected with the values of Cavendish Cancer Care and began organising fashion shows to bring people together, have fun and raise money for the charity.

When the two charities merged last year, they were keen to continue their support, helping us reach even more people affected by cancer across our region. 💜

Their next event, Fashion and Fundraising, takes place on Friday 30th October and promises a brilliant evening featuring pie and peas, a raffle and, of course, their much-loved fashion show.

What a privilege it was to be shortlisted for the Collaboration Excellence Award at last night’s Sheffield Chamber 2026 Business Awards for our Turn It Purple campaign!

Turn It Purple 2026 saw over 30 colleges, businesses and organisations come together to show solidarity for people living with cancer and to spread vital awareness. It was wonderful to celebrate alongside many of the organisations involved at the awards ceremony.

Landmarks and buildings lit up in purple to demonstrate a powerful message: our region stands united against cancer. 💜

⭐ We’re so grateful to everyone who took part and made the day so special. ⭐

And today, we can reveal that Turn It Purple will RETURN for 2027.
