Needle Felting Workshop Introductory Session in Pickering! 🪡

Join other unpaid carers and have time for yourself learning a new craft. Have a go at making a simple needle felted picture. Use natural wool fibres and a special barbed needle to poke the wool onto a piece of wool fabric 🧶

Young Carers can experience significant impacts from their caring responsibilities, while also developing valuable practical, emotional and organisational skills. Their roles may build exceptional resilience and confidence, enabling them to manage daily tasks and respond effectively in challenging situations. Samuel, a Young Adult Carer (YAC), is a great example of someone who used skills developed through caring to respond confidently during an emergency. We are very proud of you Samuel!

Are you looking after someone due to their ill health? Does yourself or the person have any connections to the armed forces? We are running a series of free weekly sessions for unpaid adult carers. Sessions are intended for you to have some time out of your caring role & focus on yourself 💜

At Bridlington's Feel Good Friday, the group got into the autumn spirit with a lovely afternoon of seasonal crafts 🍂

The group enjoyed painting wreaths, autumn signs and a range of autumn decorations. It was great to see such a well attended session and even better to see everyone enjoying themselves. To make the afternoon even sweeter, the group also tucked into a delicious autumnal carrot cake. A wonderful time was had by all 🥮
