Sunday Cleaning Cheeky Chronicles.
As usual, it was a busy Sunday at the hall, the mop was a blur, and the cobwebs didn’t stand a chance! Christine was on the move like a cross between a whippet and a detective, tracking down molecules of dirt with forensic precision. Without her, the hall wouldn’t stand a chance in the cleanliness department.
A Little Reminder for Hall Hirers.
Sunday isn’t the only day the hall gets cleaned. We often have to tidy up between hires, all unpaid, so if you hire the hall, please help us out:
- Sweep the floors - crumbs, glitter, confetti… they all add up.
- Wipe down the sides - especially after food, crafts or kids’ parties.
- Clean up spillages - sticky patches are Christine’s sworn enemy.
- Check the toilets - no one wants to discover a rogue floater on a Sunday morning or worse!
Why It Matters
The hall is run completely by volunteers who give their time to keep it clean, safe and welcoming for everyone. A few minutes of care from hirers makes a huge difference and keeps our days focused on community, not crisis cleaning.
