Our New ‘After-School Club’ for Adults! 🪡 🧶🎨

If you’ve been looking for the time and the space to get that project done - Craft Social is for you! Two hours a week of dedicated craft time in the company of other textile hobbyists.

Knitting? Crochet? Embroidery? Cross stitch? Mending? Bargello? Something completely different? Bring it along!

And if you don’t have a project, we’ll have craft kits available to purchase so you can start something new.

We’re trialling something new… introducing our Morning Sew & Sewcial!🧵☀️

For those of you who prefer a morning or daytime creative escape, this one’s for you!

Do you have a sewing project that’s been sitting at home waiting for some attention? Or perhaps you simply fancy a few hours of uninterrupted sewing, good company and time to focus on something just for you?

Our Morning Sewcial is a relaxed weekly session where you can bring along your own project, settle into the studio and enjoy sewing alongside other like-minded makers.

There’s no formal lesson plan, this is your time to work on whatever you’d like to make. Whether you’re finishing an old project, starting something new or just enjoying some dedicated sewing time, you can work at your own pace in a friendly and supportive space.

Need a little help with a tricky part of your project? We’ll be on hand to offer guidance when needed.

Perfect for anyone with basic sewing machine skills and above, and especially for those who find daytime workshops fit more easily into their routine.

Yesterday’s private sewing class was something really special.

Three generations came together, great-grandma, grandma and granddaughter - to spend time bonding, learning and creating together.

Using the sewing machines, they each made their own tote bags and, more importantly, created some lovely memories along the way.

Sewing is about so much more than making something; it’s about connection, confidence, creativity and sharing skills across generations.

What a beautiful way to spend time together!

Our Sew Nation Workshop is about more than learning the sewing machine. Alongside the creativity and conversation, we take the opportunity to shine a light on blood donation and some of the common misconceptions that can stop people from donating.

There are lots of reasons people assume they might not be able to give blood, but you may be surprised by what you ARE eligible to do.

If you’re unsure whether you can donate, please don’t assume you can’t. Check the latest eligibility information with service.
