So much creativity, care and attention to detail in every page!

We honestly can’t get enough of seeing all the wonderful creativity that comes through our doors on a Wednesday evening!

That’s what we love about Craft Social – sharing ideas, admiring each other’s makes and enjoying a good natter along the way! 🥰

They say the journey from girlhood into the teenage years can be one of the biggest shifts in confidence.

It’s a time when girls are discovering who they are, finding their own style and voice, and becoming increasingly aware of how they’re seen by others.

That’s one of the reasons we 🫶🏾 our Teen Sewcials.

Sewing gives young people something incredibly powerful: the chance to say, “I made this.”

In just three hours at our Teen Sewcials this weekend, look at what they created! 🧵✨

But behind every finished piece is so much more than sewing. There are decisions being made, problems being solved, mistakes being worked through and ideas becoming something real.

We encourage our teens to choose for themselves, experiment, ask questions, help one another and, most importantly, trust their own creativity.

Because confidence doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it grows quietly, one new skill, one brave choice and one “I actually did that!” moment at a time.

And as they begin to explore their own identity, sewing gives them the freedom to create things that feel like hem — not simply what everyone else is wearing or doing.

We’re so proud of what was created at this weekend’s Teen Sewcials. Not just the pieces you can see in these photos, but the confidence being stitched into them too.

We’ve all got that one thing in our wardrobe…

You like it, but it doesn’t quite fit right. It doesn’t quite look how you imagined. So it sits there, unworn.

Julia decided to do something about hers! 🧥

She brought her oversized coat along to our Sew Sessions and transformed it into a gorgeous, wearable cape-style jacket that she’ll actually enjoy wearing. 🧵✂️

And THAT is what we love about sewing - you don’t always need to buy something new. Sometimes you just need the skills, confidence and a little creative thinking to make what you already own work for you.

Have you got an “I’ll sort that out one day” project hiding in your wardrobe? Bring it to a Sew Session and make one day the day. 😉✨
