🧶 Mindful Threads 🧶

At this week’s Mindful Threads workshop, we explored the art of knotting, transforming simple strands of yarn into beautiful handmade coasters.

Through carefully dividing and knotting the yarn, participants created intricate patterns while enjoying the calming rhythm of making. These mindful, repetitive techniques encourage focus, creativity and connection, making them the perfect project for a relaxing afternoon together.

Each coaster was completely unique, showcasing its maker’s individual style and colour choices. And of course, the true test came at the end... placing a well-earned cup of coffee on top and seeing our creations put to use! ☕✨

Sometimes the simplest projects bring the greatest sense of accomplishment.

🩸 It’s National Blood Week🩸

At The Sew In Group, we’re passionate about raising awareness of the urgent need for more blood donors, especially within Black African and Caribbean communities.

We’ve proudly partnered with to offer our Sew Nation workshops, creating safe spaces to talk about blood donation while learning simple sewing skills. Together, we’ve been stitching take-home tote bags and items of comfort that carry these important messages back into the community.

With conditions like sickle cell disorder requiring regular, matched blood donations, your contribution could save a life.
