The Real Junk Food Project- Twickenham Please join us at our Award Winning Pay-as-you-feel Surplus Food Community Cafe & Stall.

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 11:30am-1:30pm at ETNA Community Centre Centre . The Real Junk Food Project Twickenham collects food from local shops destined for landfill, and with the help of its volunteers, turns it into delicious, healthy meals to serve to the community on a 'Pay As You Feel' basis.

What do we have in store this week, here is the full run down of our timings and locations across the week!

Come along and join us at the ETNA Centre on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30am to 1:30pm for hot lunch and surplus food hub!

Join us at our surplus food hub at Linden Hall on Monday from 2:30-4:30pm and Thursday from 11:45am-1:30pm!

Join us at Noble Green Wines from 11:00am-12:00pm on Tuesday for our surplus food hub!

Join us at the Cambrian Community Centre on Wednesday from 11:30-1:30pm for hot lunch and surplus food hub!

And finally join us at our community cafe and surplus food hub location, at the Ham Youth Centre, on Tuesday from 11:30am-1:30pm!

Who doesn’t love the taste of a homegrown strawberry picked straight from the plant?! At TRJFP alongside our donations from food retailers we are really lucky to be supported by local green-fingered allotment growers who pop in with wonderful fresh surplus fruit and veg when they have it. If you’re a keen grower and ever have surplus produce do get in touch - we love turning fabulous fresh food into delicious lunches for our community!

It’s our Birthday!!! Today we are celebrating 8 years of TRJFP! We’ve come such a long way since Clare and Chrissy’s first morning serving hot drinks and toasties at ETNA… over that time we’ve saved over 400 tonnes of food waste (that’s a fully loaded 747 plane), and have fed over 150,000 bellies. Wishing all our volunteers a very happy collective birthday (!) and sending huge thanks to all our guests, our suppliers, partners and funders who’ve helped us grow into the community project we are today. Time for cake 🎂!

On Sunday 17th, you’ll be able to spot our volunteers at Richmond Hill Open Gardens event where we’re excited to be part of the team welcoming visitors inside the gates of some beautiful private gardens and helping serve delicious cakes at St Matthias’ Church.
