Are you looking for a new way to make a difference locally?
We have a high demand for more volunteers requested by older care home residents across Richmond borough, who would really value having a befriender to regularly visit them and do an activity together that you both enjoy.
You can get involved in a number of ways - simply chatting to a resident, whether in English or other languages, taking a resident for a walk, reading aloud, playing games, offering hand massages or other sensory care, gardening together, joining group activities, playing the piano and much more.
All our volunteers receive full training and on-going support.

Huge thanks to everyone who came to our Quiz Night last Friday - together you helped raise an amazing £2,000!

As a small charity, your generosity provides vital support to enable us to keep helping local care home residents feel valued, connected and full of hope through our trained volunteer befrienders and our other community-linked projects.

Thank you so much for making it such a fun, sociable evening, and to everyone who made the evening possible - including our amazing volunteer fundraiser Sarah R, our hard-working volunteer team on the night, Surplus to Supper for the delicious buffet, St Stephen's Church, Twickenham for the fabulous venue and all the brilliant local businesses who donated such generous prizes for our raffle.
