Last week all parents and carers were invited to the yearly spring show. Since January the children have been practicing their songs and lines and as always it culminated in two spectacular show evenings; this year the show presented was Casper the friendly ghost. 👻

Thank you to the Swedish school in Barnes, to Charlotte (our legendary music teacher) and to all the staff. The children had a blast and so did the parents!

Tomorrow Saturday 6th of June we are celebrating Sweden with strawberry cake 🍰hot dogs 🌭 Swedish choir 🎶 and fiskdamm🎣

Where? At the Swedish school in Barnes.

A week ago Friends organized a volleyball tournament for the older children at the Swedish school. The weather delivered sunshine ☀️and the students delivered a winning mindset 🥇and enthusiasm💪🏼, whilst our Friends’ hero Maria also delivered homebaked Swedish fika for everyone. 🩷

Thank you for showing up and participating. This is what we are for; creating community and team spirit and being present in the scholastic life of the students.

Let’s make our school shine together! ✨

On 17 May, all parents and caregivers are invited to our annual sprucing-up day to help make the school environment welcoming and beautiful for our children. It’s also a great opportunity to get to know each other.

🌞The whole family is welcome - some of our older students will look after the younger children.

🌞Refreshments and a BBQ will be provided

🌞Gloves/PPE will be supplied.

Please let the school office know if you will be attending so we can estimate numbers.

To all participants of the bike party! 🚲

A massive thank you for showing up, elegantly dressed in white (no furry bunny showed up), cooking, drinking, dancing, biking, serving and for so generously opening your houses to a bunch of people. This type of party could never work if it wasn’t for you all! 🤍

We all had the best of times and the weather showed up for us in an absolutely legendary way. Shortly we will begin our planning for the next school year and some of us have already set a search alert for white furry murder bunny outfits. 🐇
