Home-Start Richmond, Kingston & Hounslow We are here to give a supportive start to struggling families with children under the age of 5

We support families in the boroughs of Richmond upon Thames, Kingston upon Thames and Hounslow with at least one child under the age of five, through our dedicated volunteers and we also offer support to families through term-time weekly online Family groups. Our co-ordinators are responsible for the day-to-day recruitment, training and support of the volunteers as well as liaising with referrers.

Our charity is supported by a Board of Trustee, who oversee our activities, providing strategic, funding and governance advice.

Earlier this week, a team of staff and volunteers headed to Hampton Court Palace to take part in their Amazing Day Out programme with some of our Home-Start RKH families.

Our families enjoyed a fantastic day filled with fun activities, including crafts, sand and water play and, of course, dressing up in Tudor costumes! 👑

There was also plenty of time for the families to explore the palace, get lost in the famous maze and have adventures in the incredible Magic Garden, complete with slides, a splash pad, secret grottos and royal towers to climb. 🏰

It was a wonderful day of sunshine, smiles and making special memories together 😊

A huge thank you to the Community Partnerships team at for putting on such a brilliant day, and to all the Home-Start RKH staff and volunteers who helped make it so special. 💜

Our final duck-themed Play Day was a quacking success! 🦆😂 We had great fun with Hook-a-Duck and lots of other activities for local families.

A huge thank you to our brilliant staff team and wonderful volunteer helpers for making it such a special day 😊💜
