Dear friends and community members,
We’re delighted to invite you to a colourful celebration of Teeyan/Teej on Thursday, 30th July from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Indian Community Centre, 2 Norris Road, Reading, RG6 1NJ
Teeyan/Teej holds a cherished place in our hearts, symbolising tradition, honouring women, and the joyous spirit of togetherness. This vibrant gathering will feature delicious Indian snacks and a freshly prepared vegetarian meal for ÂŁ7, as well as lively songs, dhol, bhangra, giddha, and energetic dance performances.
To make our music and dance experience even more enjoyable, we invite everyone to send their playlist or music selections in advance to Veera, Gurvinder or Misbah. Your contributions help ensure that everyone’s favourite tunes are part of the festivities. Past events like this have brought our community closer and created wonderful memories, and we are excited to continue this tradition.
Please confirm your attendance by **28th July** and pay ÂŁ7 (by cash or bank transfer) to Indian Community Association. If you have any questions about payment methods or need further details, please contact us directly.
We look forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces and making this joyous occasion truly special for all.
Kind regards,
Veera
