Cash for Kids helps the children that need it most across Lancashire. We support those who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs.

Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity that fundraises to help disadvantaged children across Lancashire. Our grants to families, community organisations and local charities provide support to families who often have nowhere else to go. We promise what's Raised Local, Stays Local, with all donations staying in our community to help local children and young people. In 2025 we raised £782,949 supporting 19,008 children. We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Pete Marquis❤️

Pete was an incredibly generous supporter of Cash for Kids Lancashire, whose passion for helping others made a real and lasting difference to so many children’s lives.

As the driving force behind the amazing Santa Slog, and through his generosity in donating his sleigh for our Mission Christmas events, Pete helped us bring Christmas magic to children and families who needed it most.

Through his incredible fundraising efforts, Pete raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities, giving so much of his time, energy and generosity to causes close to his heart.

For us at Cash for Kids Lancashire, Pete’s legacy is personal. It lives on in the children who experienced magic at Christmas, the families who received support during difficult times, and the countless smiles made possible by his kindness. These are the moments that truly matter, and Pete helped make so many of them happen.

We feel privileged to have worked with Pete and will always be grateful for everything he did for our charity and the families we support.

Our thoughts are with Pete’s family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him at this very sad time.

Lancashire - we need your help! ⚠️

We opened our Mission Christmas applications just 48 hours ago and already we have received requests for 5,610 children and applications are increasing by the minute! 😲 5,610 Children who may otherwise be going without presents on Christmas morning…

Each child receives around £40 worth of gifts, meaning we have already had over £224,000 worth of gifts requested. 🎁
