Vault Youth Zone will open in Preston in 2026, offering young people somewhere safe and inspiring to make new friends, explore opportunities and get support.

This Youth Work Week, we're recognising the dedicated staff and volunteers who make a difference every day.

We wanted to share this story with you about how a young person has flourished through the work of our team.

We received some fantastic feedback this weekend from the carer of a young person who attends Vault. He started coming to our Vault:Unlocked sessions and initially found it socially hard. One of our youth workers suggested that he try out the senior sessions on Tuesday evenings which he did. He loved it and has started taking part in Warhammer sessions.

The carer commented on how kind and caring our staff are and how the young person feels comfortable and safe and how his confidence has improved.

Thank you to all the youth workers helping young people build confidence, discover opportunities and shape their futures.

Expect frightfully good fun, fang-tastic vibes and plenty of Halloween mischief! 👻

Get your costumes ready, bring your best Halloween energy and come join us for a night (or afternoon!) to remember. Anyone coming is costume gets free entry!
