The dedication, effort, and team spirit shown at training have been fantastic, and we're excited to put it all into action on game day. 💪

Today, we celebrate all fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who provide love, guidance, strength, and support.

At Onward Lives, we recognise the positive impact that strong role models and family connections have on individuals and communities.

We would also like to wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all of our participants, partners, supporters, and the father figures within our wider Onward Lives community. Thank you for everything you do to inspire, support, and strengthen the lives of those around you.

This week, we're shining a spotlight on the wonderful Jean, a valued member of the FareShare team who has dedicated an incredible 7 years of service to helping others and being a member of our team. Jean started out as a volunteer who then progressed to paid employment with us.

Jean's compassion, commitment, and hard work help ensure that good food reaches people who need it most, making a real difference in our communities every day.

And when it comes to her favourite team member? She said our awesome Shaun Lewis himself!! 😊

⚽ Football shirts were on full display at Onward Lives! ⚽

To mark England's opening game of the 2026 World Cup, our team swapped their usual workwear for football shirts and took part in Football Shirt Day in support of Gifting Goals, a charity that is particularly close to the heart of one of our team members.

The campaign helps provide children in Djibouti, Africa, with access to football, equipment and opportunities that many of us take for granted. Through the power of sport, Gifting Goals is helping to inspire young people, build confidence and create brighter futures.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and supported such a worthwhile cause.

And of course, congratulations to the Three Lions on getting their World Cup campaign off to a winning start last night! ⚽

We're delighted to be supporting Employ with Conviction at HMP Kirkham on Wednesday 7th October 2026.

If you're struggling to recruit, looking to fill employment gaps, or interested in building a more skills focused workforce, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the benefits of working with prisons and accessing a pool of future employees.

The event will bring together employers, prison staff and partners.
