On Tuesday, Community Action East Sussex held a Volunteers’ Week Breakfast, as a thank you to local volunteers 👏

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and volunteers shared their stories. We were blown away by the volunteers’ experiences and hearing what volunteering has meant to them 🫶

We will be sharing these volunteer stories on our socials in the coming weeks, so more people get to hear about the impact of volunteering.

We finished with a raffle, giving away some goodies to lucky volunteers. Thank you for providing cinema tickets as one of the raffle prizes 🙏

Very interesting Community forum today shared across Wealden, Eastbourne and Lewes Districts. We focused on thinking about how we could develop or promote a strong voice for people with disabilities following local government reorganization. Some very positive ideas came out of it so watch this space!
