We take in horses and ponies from many different situations some un-wanted, negelected saved from slaughter, from markets and those that are suffering from illness. We are a small rescue based in East Sussex .....we take in horses and ponies from many different situations some un -wanted ,negelected saved from slaughter ,from markets and those that are suffering from illness. We rehabilitate and r

e home the equines we can, we understand that all of there problems have been caused from the situations they have been in ...hence some of the animals that come into our care are unsuitable or unsafe to be re homed these will live the remainder of there days with us. We help fund the rescue ourselves but since the economic climate has really had an impact on horse welfare we are always trying to raise funds to allow us to continue to provide care to these equines in need. Our aim is to also assist others .......sometimes a little assistance is all that's needed to help get horse owners through a difficult period . Email: [email protected]

FOR FULL LOAN ONLY
16.2, 7 year old Warmblood gelding, he had a tendon injury a while ago and is sound for a hacking home only
He will only be loaned on a contract and a full home check with a vet/ personal reference required.
Based near Lewes on livery.

Please can the couple of people that owe the shop money get it to us as soon as possible .
I am trying to keep everything going from a hospital bed as I have had a bad reaction to Chemo .
I don’t want to name and shame it’s not me but one is £400 for a saddle I have messaged the person and just get ignored .
Over the years done lots of favours and helped a lot of owners and horses but this is wrong .

As promised here are the two horse we are looking to re home

I will be at work from 6am tomorrow and will get back to you in the afternoon

15hh cremello type cob gelding, 20yrs young, loves jumping and hunting, kind and sweet but not really for novice riders.

15hh Welsh/TB type mare, 19/20 yrs young, sweet and kind, looks after her rider.

These horses are not rescues as such but have sadly found themselves in a situation where they are not secure
They have had an amazing loving private home

We have been asked to take two 15hh horses
One is an older cob and the other is possibly welsh/TBx
Both are well and no issues both are in their teens
Both easy in all ways and one is suitable for a competent novice

Only for loan on a rainbow bridge agreement and both to stay in Sussex

From Tuesday 10-1 Friday 10-1 and Sat 10-2 we will be having a rug sale .
We have all sizes makes etc .

Some rugs will be priced higher if we have purchased them but everything is cheap .
I have not been able to get to the shop much due to the being unwell .
