With that we want to shine a light on our fabulous team of volunteers starting with the lovely VNs that come and help us out on our stand at events without them we couldn't help you to help clients/patients that are being diagnosed or undergoing treatment for cancer, follow us for more posts highlighting some of the fabulous work our volunteers do.

Today is purple day
Held annually to increase awareness, reduce social stigma and dispel myths surrounding Epilepsy.
This campaign started in 2008 by Cassidy Megan, and it encourages everyone to wear 💜, host events, and educate others. Purple was chosen as it is the colour of lavender which is the international flower of epilepsy.
According to the RVC (royal veterinary college) epilepsy affects around 0.6% of the 8.9 million dogs in the UK (53,000) and 0.04% of cats (4 in every 10,000) were formally diagnosed with epilepsy.
