💜 💚 Over £10,000 raised for Hugs Children's Cancer Charity! 💜 💚

We are still smiling after the incredible Charity Golf Day organised by Kier Construction at Boringdon Park Golf Club, which raised over £10,000 to support children with cancer and their families across Devon & Cornwall.

A huge thank you to Kier, everyone who helped organise the event, the sponsors, prize donors, volunteers and all the teams who took part. The day was a fantastic success and a wonderful example of what can be achieved when businesses and communities come together to support a local cause.

Thanks to your generosity, Hugs will be able to continue providing:

💜 Counselling and emotional support
💜 Grants towards food and travel costs whilst families are attending treatment
💜 Family events and experiences
💜 Practical and emotional support for children with cancer and their families

The moment has arrived to introduce the final contestant taking to the dance floor for Strictly Hugs Dancing 2026...

✨ Ultan Moran from Kitty O'Hanlons✨

Ultan the dad dancer with two left feet 😉 has bravely agreed to swap the Irish bar for the ballroom, and take on the challenge of Strictly Hugs Dancing 2026 to support children with cancer, and their families across Devon and Cornwall.

Over the coming months, Ultan will be putting his dance moves to the test with the fantastic team at One More Time Dance Company as he prepares to take to the stage on Saturday 7th November 2026 at Crowne Plaza Plymouth.

✨ Kerry Johnson! ✨

Kerry is a busy mum of three who has decided to step out of her comfort zone and take on the challenge of Strictly Hugs Dancing 2026.
Between family life and everything that comes with being a mum, Kerry is now adding dance training to her schedule as she prepares to take to the dance floor on Saturday 7th November!

Over the coming months, Kerry will be learning new moves, building her confidence and fundraising to help support children with cancer and their families across Devon & Cornwall, from diagnosis and beyond.

We are incredibly proud to introduce our third contestant for Strictly Hugs Dancing 2026...

✨ Emma Brook ✨

Emma is taking to the dance floor for a cause that is very close to her heart. As the mum of Hayden, who is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy, Emma knows first hand the challenges that a childhood cancer diagnosis can bring to a family.

Despite everything her family is facing, Emma has bravely signed up to take on Strictly Hugs Dancing 2026 to help raise much needed funds for Hugs Children's Cancer Charity, ensuring that other families receive the support they need during some of the most difficult times of their lives.

Over the coming months, Emma will be training with the fantastic team at One More Time Dance Company as she prepares to step out onto the dance floor on Saturday 7th November 2026 at Crowne Plaza Plymouth.
